Engenheira Civil pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (2002) – UFMG. Mestrado (2005) e Doutorado (2010) em Engenharia Civil – Tecnologia de Saneamento Ambiental e Recursos Hídricos pela COPPE/UFRJ. Professora Adjunta do Departamento de Engenharia Sanitária e Meio Ambiente da Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro – DESMA/UERJ. Coordenadora do curso de Graduação em Engenharia Ambiental da UERJ e membro permanente do Programa de Engenharia Ambiental da UERJ (Mestrado Profissional) PEAMB/UERJ. Atua em projetos de engenharia aplicados ao saneamento ambiental, esgotamento sanitário, tratamento de águas residuárias, reuso de efluentes e controle de poluição das águas.

Ana is a civil engineer graduated from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2002) – UFMG. She has a Masters Degree (2005) and Doctorate (2010) in Civil Engineering – Technology of Environmental Sanitation and Water Resources at COPPE/UFRJ. She is a Professor of the Department of Sanitary Engineering and Environment of the State University of Rio de Janeiro – DESMA / UERJ. She is a coordinator of the Undergraduate Program in Environmental Engineering at UERJ and a permanent member of the Environmental Engineering Program at UERJ (Professional Masters Degree) PEAMB / UERJ. She works in engineering projects applied to environmental sanitation, sewage treatment, wastewater treatment, reuse of effluents and control of water pollution.
